Hillsdale College’s Churchill Project has published over 500 articles on the life, words, and deeds of Winston Churchill since the launch of this website in 2015. On this National Winston Churchill Day, we are happy to announce the publication of Grand Alliance: Churchill Studies at Hillsdale College, set to release this summer.
Edited by Hillsdale College President Larry P. Arnn and Senior Fellow to the Churchill Project Richard M. Langworth, Grand Alliance gathers together some of the best articles published by the Churchill Project as well as other material new to this volume.
The first two articles relate to Churchill Project initiatives: the completion of the official biography of Winston Churchill; and the acquisition of the most complete collection of Churchill’s contributions to books, periodicals, and other works.
The remaining twelve articles focus on two themes, one timeless and the other timely. Eight cover topics pertaining to Churchill’s statesmanship, ranging from native rights to social reform to geopolitics and the two World Wars. The final four address some of the contemporary controversies surrounding Churchill and his legacy.
Authors include: Larry P. Arnn; Eliot A. Cohen; Ronald I. Cohen; Benjamin Crenshaw; Zewditu Gebreyohanes; Sir Martin Gilbert; Richard M. Langworth; Justin D. Lyons; Zareer Masani; Will Morrisey; Andrew Roberts; Julia Wacker; and Joshua Waechter.
